You can suggest a tool for the index. Submission is free, and it is not a purchase, there is no paid listing, no expedited review, and no way to pay for a score. See our editorial policy.
What we need
- The product name and its website
- Which category it belongs in, see the 22 categories we cover
- A link to the public pricing page. This is the part that matters most: if pricing is only available after a sales call, we can list the product but its pricing will read not disclosed, which rarely helps anyone.
- One sentence on what it does that the obvious incumbent does not

What we check before listing
- It exists and works. Live site, reachable product, signup that completes.
- It is a product, not an announcement. Waitlists, demo videos, and "coming soon" pages do not get listed.
- Pricing is verifiable from the vendor's own page, or is honestly marked as undisclosed.
- It fits a category we cover and adds something to it, a tenth near-identical wrapper around the same API usually does not.
- It gets scored like everything else on the same six criteria, and gets a Where it falls short section. If you are not comfortable with a public, sourced list of your product's weaknesses, do not submit it.
What we will not do
We do not accept payment for inclusion or placement, publish vendor-written descriptions, remove competitors, or give pre-publication approval. We do correct factual errors quickly, see corrections.
Smaller and newer tools are genuinely welcome here. Much of the value of this index is in products the large directories never listed properly.
